Apart from hosts Sweden, 15 teams have to qualify to play in the world championship. The qualification round will be held as below:

Apart from the teams that qualify above, the two best 3rd placed teams from all the European qualifiers will get tickets to Gothenburg, Sweden.
Floorball, a type of floor hockey, is an indoor team sport which was developed in the 1970′s in Sweden. International Floorball Federation (IFF) is the governing body of the Floorball and has 55 member countries. The Men’s World Floorball Championships take place every December (since 2008) in every even year.
