Malkin, though, apparently had even nicer things to say about his captain, per his Team Russia biography (h/t @PaigeLewisFL)
He said that, presumably, when OK! Magazine Russia named him their most eligible bachelor of 2012.
Whether Malkin and the Russian national team face his hero remains to be seen; they're not in the same preliminary group. Team USA plays Team Russia on Feb. 15, though.
