The list of the 21 selected players follows below:

GOALKEEPERS: Dheeraj Singh, Prabhsukhan Gill, Sunny Dhaliwal;

DEFENDERS: Boris Singh, Jitendra Singh, Anwar Ali, Sanjeev Stalin, Hendry Antonay, Namit Deshpande;

MIDFIELDERS: Suresh Singh, Ninthoinganba Meetei, Amarjit Singh Kiyam, Abhijit Sarkar, Komal Thatal, Lalengmawia, Jeakson Singh, Nongdamba Naorem, Rahul Kannoly Praveen, Md. Shahjahan;

FORWARDS: Rahim Ali, Aniket Jadhav.

This selection of India U17 players is the first to have received such an extensive amount of monetary and technical support, far greater than any age-group national teams in the country.  Head coach Luis Norton de Matos, who only took over the reins of the team in March 2017, will guide the young guns into what will be India’s maiden tryst with FIFA competition’s finals, creating a new landmark, putting India on the footballing map at last.
